​Israel – Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized the first Fintech Summit aiming to bridge between the Israeli fintech community and the financial and banking sector of the Czech Republic. Special thanks to Pavel Kysilka, Petr Benes and Oded Ofek for sharing their insight on fintech, banking and investments between Israel and the Czech Republic.  The event was sponsored by M. Firon & Co law Firm and IFBC. Our partners: PwC Israel, Israel Export Institute, Israel Manufacturers Association, Czech Embassy in Tel Aviv and CISOK our sister chamber in Prague.

We honored to co partner in the project “The Tower in Jerusalem”.

The inauguration ceremony took place November 9th at 17:00 PM in the presence of the Czech Ministers of Culture H.E Mr. Daniel Herman, Czech Minister of Labour and Social Affairs H.E. Mrs. Michaela Marksova, Mayor of Jerusalem Mr. Nir Barkat and Israeli Minister of Environmental protection H.E. Mr. Zeev Elkin

Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael  – The Jewish National Fund (KKL-JNF) cordially invites you to the inauguration ceremony of a TATRA-FIRE TRUCK donated by the Government of the Czech Republic following the horrendous forest-fires which blazed through Israel in November 2016.

The ceremony will take place on Thursday, August 24th, 2017, at 10:00am in Česky Les (the Czech Forest) located in Yattir Forest in the South of Israel.

It was our pleasure hosting Mrs. Adriana Krnáčová Mayor of Prague and her team during her visit in Israel. The visit focused on identifying Israeli smart and safe city technologies and our chamber organized a business forum in which Israeli companies met with the team. We also arranged a meeting with the leadership of Egged bus company and we concluded the visit with an informal dinner.

Special thanks to Mrs. Delana Mikolašova Acting Ambassador at the Czech Embassy in tel Aviv. Dr. Eliezer Fischer, President of Dr. Fischer Ltd and Honorary president of ICCCI, Mr. Marian Cohen President of Mer group and Chairman of IFBC and Mr. Dan Schueftan chairman of the National Security Studies Center at the University of Haifa.

Thank you for everyone participating in our Annual General Assembly which this year was in partnership with Elta Systems Ltd. The Assembly approved all the financial reports for Year 2016.

We had the honor to host a dinner together with the Czech Embassy in Tel Aviv with the presence of Mr.  Bělobrádek and distinguish delegation of goverment officials, head of various leading Academic, Research and technology Institutes.

Minister Stropnický arrived on official visit to Israel in which he met with PM Netanyau and President Rivlin. ICCCI hosted a round table dinner with the minister, members of the Czech MoD delegation and executives of leading defense industries.

We had the privileged to host the Czech team for lunch during their visit in Israel organized by H.E Mr. Ivo Schwarz Czech Ambassador to Israel.

The business forum took place in the framework of the G2G talks and included greetings by H.E Czech Minister of Trade Mr. Jan Mladek and H.E Israel Minister of Finance H.E Mr. Moshe Kahlon, a panel discussion with executives of 3 Israeli companies (3M, Cann, Elta) and 3 Czech companies (Skoda Trasnportation, PrimeCell Therapeutics, TTC Marconi). The forum was concluded with speeches of H.E Czech Prime Minister Mr. Bohuslav Sobotka and H.E Israel Prime Minister Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu.

ICCCI in partnership with Czech Embassy in Tel Aviv, Czech Centre in Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv University, Dr. Eli Fischer and CISOK organized the unvieling ceremony of the artfact at TAU Campus.

Business forum took place during the State visit of the president of Israel in the Czech Republic together with the business delegation and other distinguish guests. The event included a mutual statment of both presidents as well as signing of MOU for developing business cooperation  between the two chambers of commerce.

State visit of the Presidnet of the State of Israel Mr. Reuven RIvlin to the Czech Repulic.   ICCCI in partnership with the Israel Export and International Cooperation Institue, the Manufacturer Association of Israel organized an official business delegation which participated in several events during the visit.

ICCCI togther with the Czech Emabssy and the Manicupal of the City of Haifa organized the ceremony of naming a sqaure after the last Preisdent of Czechoslovakia and the FIrst President of the Czech Republic – Vaclav Havel. ICCCI Annual General Assembly was held at the Manufacturers Association House. Among the key speakers: Mr. Daniel Herman Czech Minister of Culture, Mr. Ivo Schwarz Czech Ambassador to Israel, MK Dr. Aliza Lavie Chairman of the Kneset Friendship Group of Israel and Czech Republic and MK Mr. Nahman Shay.

The event was organized by the Traditional Karate Federation in partnership with ICCCI, Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Israel Ministry of Culture and Sport and Embassy of Japan in Tel aviv. The Czech delegation recieved first place in category of “Men Kumite” by H.E Mr. Ivo Schwarz Czech Ambassador to Israel.

Rotary International District 2240 (Czech Republic & Slovakia) and Rotary International District 2490 (Israel) organized for the second time such visit.    We arranged and took part in a visit of the Czech Ambassador H.E. Mr. Ivo Schwarz and his wife who met with the children and the people of Rotary.

We hosted a dinner for Dr. Zdenek Blahuta Director of the Czech State Institute for Drug Control and Mrs. Jana Venclikova Head of Department in the State Agency for Medical Cannabis and Mr. Tomas Zabransky ResAd, Charles University, Board of Advisors to the Czech Prime Minister.

Organized by Czech Centre Tel Aviv for the fifth time with some of the most interesting, thought-provoking, award-winning and entertaining features recently produced in the Czech Republic. ICCCI was one of the sponsors for the the opening film “Like Never Before” which received a number of both Czech and foreign awards and it was personally introduced by its accomplished director, Zdenek Tyc.

We initiated and developed the cooperation between the Israeli city of Netanya and the Czech town of Podebrady which was signed between the mayors in Israel. Prior to that we organized an exchanged students delegations from both cities.

We hosted Mr. Pavel Kysilka, CEO and Chairman of the largest bank in the Czech Republic and organized B2B meetings with Israeli companies foscuing on cyber, finance and technlegy as well as with the leadership of Bank Mizrahi Tefahot and Bank Leumi.

We hosted MUDr. Svatopluk Němeček, Czech Minister of Health during his visit to Israel in which he met with Israeli companies and Mrs. Yael German, Israel Minister of Health to discuss cooperation and development of Medical Cannabis trading.

We held a Gala dinner in honor H.E. Mr. Miloš Zeman, President of the Czech Republic during his official visit to Israel. Additionally, we held a business seminar to the business delelgation accompanied the president and we took part in the official dinner held by H.E. Mr. Shimon Peres, President of the state of Israel.

Our annual general assebly took place at the HQ of Champion Motors, Importer of Skoda to Israel. This year besides approving our reports for year 2012 we also awarded H.E. Mr. Tomas Pojar with an award for extraordinary merits in his ongoing commitment and substantial support of our chamber and for his outstanding dedication and significant contribution to the diplomatic and commercial relations between the Czech Republic and the State of Israel
