ICCCI was registered by the Israeli Ministry of Justice in December 2010 as a non-profit organization. The chamber is a voluntary institute with its main goal to develop commercial and cultural relations between the State of Israel and the Czech Republic.

The Chamber provides services for both Israeli and Czech businesspeople, SME and Multinationals who seek to enter or expand their activities in both countries. We create a tailor-made strategy based on extended experience in business development and managing effective networking.

Our founders and management team consist of distinguishing and experienced Israeli businessmen, some of which consider among the most influential people in the Israeli economy. ICCCI is a member of the Federation of the Bi National Chambers of Commence in Israel. We hold close ties with the Israeli Export Institute, The Israeli Manufacturers Association, the Chamber of Commerce Federation as well as Governmental ministries and both embassies in Tel Aviv and Prague as well as our counter chamber of commerce in Prague.

MANAGEMENT

Dr. Eli Fischer, President of ICCCI

Eli Fischer was born in Carlsbad, Czechoslovakia. He earned his master’s degree cum laude from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, following which he was accepted for doctoral studies at Harvard. Later, after receiving a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of California, he decided to return to Israel, where he subsequently established an innovative plant for producing new types of medications under the name of “Dr. Fischer, Inc.”, today a well-known brand name. His private life and community work are an integral part of his scientific and business achievement.

Mr. David Hercky, Chairman of the ICCCI and Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic

David Hercky, Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Bi-national Chambers of Commerce and Chairman of the Israel Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry. David is an Entrepreneur dealing with various business activities in Israel, Czech and Slovak Republic. Chairman of “Curapipe systems” - a company which repairs municipal water pipes leakages. Supervisory board member of “Agel” – The largest private health provider in the Czech Republic and General Director of “Mexicol” ltd. – a company providing management and technological consulting.

David has B.Sc. Food Engineering and Biotechnology (cum laude) from The Technion – Israel Technological Institute and he holds MBA in Financing from Bar Ilan University.

Mr. Assaf Israel Dovrat, CEO

Assaf brings extensive experience in entrepreneurship and business development, with an emphasis on companies and ventures in the process of establishing and penetrating different markets and among various sectors.  Assaf was also an active member at PIC Club – an Angel Investment Club and gained Deep understanding and Involvement in investment capital raising for start-up companies in technological and medical fields. Assaf specializes in generating business development narratives, analyzing and creating marketing channels, penetrating new markets overseas, establishing legal entities and complying within unique regulatory environments. In recent years, Assaf was involved in entrepreneurship within the US emerging cannabis industry and developed e-Commerce ventures.

Ms. Moran Sittin, ICCCI Board Member

Moran holds the position of Head of Skoda Division at Campion Motors Ltd. She has started her way in the Israeli automotive market almost 20 years ago, in different executive roles. Moran, married +3, has MBA in Business Management and LLb. Law. She has carried a wide variety of positions covering almost any strategic and management aspects. Her last role was Managing director of Nissan Israel in Carraso Motors Ltd.

Mr. Nimrod Yaron, ICCCI Board Member

Nimrod Yaron, CPA (LL.B), a former senior official in the Israeli Tax Authority, is a managing partner in an Israeli and international tax consulting firm that operates in over 100 countries. The firm represents individuals, private companies, public companies, venture capital funds, and foreign governments in Israel. Nimrod lectures at forums of the Chamber of Certified Public Accountants, the Bar Association, the Tax Advisors Chamber, and other academic forums.

Mr. Amir Kandell, ICCCI Board Member

Amir held multiple positions as Head of business and sales in various High Tech and Cyber companiesAmir has more than 25 years of commercial and business experience and almost 2 decades with the Czech Republic. Amir, married +3, has BSC in Electrical Engineering, carried a wide variety of VP positions in the Israeli high-tech industry.

Dr. iur. Avraham Weber, LL.M, ICCCI Board Member

A member of Weber and Co. Law firm Dr. iur. Weber is a member of the Israeli Bar since 2000, and holds a double Masters of Law both from the Tel Aviv University and Humboldt zu Berlin University. He holds a PhD degree from Giessen University Germany, and has published several articles abroad. Dr. iur. Weber was also a guest researcher at the Vienna University dealing with legal international questions relating to the EU Enlargement process. Dr. iur. Weber is consulting both on private and public international law. Over the years, Dr. iur. Weber has been active in the field of legal consulting to international firms active in Israel and abroad. He serves as the legal advisor of the ICCCI.

Mr. David Sivor,  ICCCI Board Member

Born in Bratislava on 1934 and was the head coach of the Israeli national swimming team. Today he is very involved in promoting different cultural activities between Israel and the Czech Republic.

Mr. Pavel Kolliner, ICCCI Board Member

Born on 1949 in Prague, has been living in Israel since 1968. B.Sc – Industrial and Management Engineering, The Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa. His main occupation since 1992 is Israel – Czech Republic bilateral activities – import, export, technology projects, and real-estate projects.
